Kristies Move & broken T.V. cable

Black sky in Bakers Hill.            Geoff on roof trying to fix T.V. cable.Phil finally got his transfer out of Northam & will be at Mundaring Coles in a few weeks. Kristie is happy as she was discontent in Northam as it is a typical country town with a lot of disfunctional families living there. Don't get me wrong there are also a lot of lovely families living there. They have a house to rent opposite the Mundaring primary school so Phoebe just has to walk across the road to school. The house is actually in the street behind the house we sold when we moved to Bremer Bay so it is familiar territory. Kristie has always wanted to move back to Mundaring/Stoneville as it is where she grew up & went to school. Emma is the adventurious one wanting to move around & experience new things whereas Kristie doesn't really like change. Lets hope they will stay in the Mundaring area now Phoebe is at school. The poor kid has already attended 2 schools & is only in year 1.
It's wild & wet here at the moment & Geoff has just discovered that the cable on the T.V. areial has snapped so no T.V. until he fixes it .............if he can fix it. The tin roof is wet so hope he doesn't fall off & the wind is pretty strong.

Trent in Vicroria

I don't know how I got 3 photo's the same here. When I uploaded them there were 3 different photo's now 2 weeks later there are 3 the same. Go figure..SmileHave had a good laugh today after I recieved a phone call from the mum of a friend of Trents asking me if I want to know where my son was. Not in jail was my response.......she laughed & said no he's in Mt. Buller, Victoria with her son & a couple of friends. After my WHAT THE............(unprintable) I of course asked what how why etc. Jan, Ty's mother said they were at the pub & decided to go for a drive to the airport & once there decided to catch the next flight out which happened to be to Melbourne.  They couldn't have been to drunk as they wouldn't have been allowed on the plane if they were. They arrived in Melbourne & were told that there was snow on Mt. Buller & none of them had seen snow they hired a car & drove up there. They are having a ball & freezing their balls off as they only have the clothes they were wearing. I think it will do them good & I haven't stopped laughing all day.
Next day......Just adding a bit more to Trents journey in Victoria. He caught up with his cousin Evie in Prahan Melbourne & celebrated his 28th birthday with her & brother Kris. They look like they had a good time although Trent looks like he needs a good nights sleep hahahah. He probably hasn't slept much at all since Sunday nite as the left Perth around midnite Monday. Luckily he doesn't have to go back to work until Friday so if he comes home today he will have a chance to catch up on some rest.

Stump burning party

Had a lovely night Saturday with the family. We had a large stump that had to be burnt so had all the kids & grandkids around for tea & a few drinks around the fire. We toasted marshmellow, watched the moon come up  over the trees & generally a good time was had by all. Next morning I cooked a huge breakfast of bacon, eggs mushrooms & toast & not a crumb was left. The grandkids loved it & Ava was so good for a 9 month old that couldn't get down on the dirt & crawl & had to be held all night.

She's Home

SmileShe arrived home at 8 this morning a little muddy but otherwise none the worse for wear. She seems a little timid but came in & jumped on the bed with her muddy paws, oh well thats life. So I'm a lot happier today. We will probably never know where she spent the nite.

Kika where are you

Kika in January 2009. ..   Kika & her best mate Dixie Bremer Bay 2005SadKika where are you. Unfortunately I feel you have met with foul play or been hit by a car & the people have not seen fit to let us know. I would just like to know what has happened to you as you are part of our family. Your introduction to life was hard as Trent found you abandoned at the airport at Bremer, starving covered in ticks & fleas & so skinny your neck was thinner than my wrist. My hands were ripped to shreds for the first three months we had you as you didn't realise that you now had food on a regular basis & just use to rip food out  of my hands. Even to this day you still guts down any food that is given to you. Dixie misses you as we all do. I even miss the dirty paw prints on the bed. Where are you baby girl, you are our girl even though you  are not as dainty as Dixie you are still our rough & tumble girl.
